The idea behind this release was to study the development of one whisky in two different casks.
If in the first release we used a bourbon cask, now the whisky has been maturing in first-fill PX cask for 8 months. In this case, the aroma isn’t creamy, it’s nuttier with hints of nougat and buckwheat honey. Taste is full of milk chocolate notes.
The maturation gave its results. On the one hand, we lost the strength, but on the other – we discovered new flavors.
As a result, we have a great whisky, which happened to be a great digestive or a pleasant dinner finale.
